About the Event
In this updated and expanded parent presentation, Sarah Ward, M.S., CCC-SLP, will share practical, brain-based strategies to help children develop the independent executive function skills they need not only for homework, but for household routines, task completion, and daily responsibilities. Families who attended her previous workshop will find new material, fresh research, and additional tools—while parents joining for the first time will walk away with a strong, clear foundation.
Sarah will blend real-world examples, new attention research, and simple strategies parents can use immediately. She’ll address common hot spots such as technology use, cleaning and organizing personal spaces, starting homework without a battle, sustaining effort, and managing routines without constant adult prompting.
