About the Event
Strong readers, writers, and conversational partners don’t just process information—they predict what will come next, plan their responses, and adapt their language and actions in real time. These are the executive function (EF) skills that allow students to move from moment-to-moment reactivity to intentional, organized communication and learning.
In this two-day, hands-on workshop, participants will learn how to strengthen prediction and planning skills as the foundation for academic and social success. You’ll explore practical strategies to help students visualize, sequence, and connect ideas across reading comprehension, written expression, and conversation. Using the 360 Thinking™ framework, you’ll see how the same EF processes that drive planning for tasks also drive reading between the lines, anticipating narrative structure, organizing writing, and sustaining flexible, reciprocal conversation.
This is an AHPC accredited event and is eligible for CPE points for Allied Health Professionals
